Although it isn't well-known in the U.S., Fujitsu-Siemens is one of the most important Pocket PC makers in other parts of the world.
A source familiar with this company's plans has revealed to Brighthand Fujitsu-Siemens' product roadmap through the end of this year.
Among other new models, this will include the first Pocket Loox smartphone.
Pocket Loox C550
Last fall, Fujitsu-Siemens introduced two models in the Pocket Loox 500 series. Next month, it will add a third, the C550.
One of the major new features in this handheld will be the inclusion of a 3.5-inch 640-by-480-pixel (VGA) screen, but it will also make the jump to a 520 MHz processor.
However, not all of the news in this rumor is good. The C550 will not include a GPS receiver, as the other 500 series models do.
Like its predecessors, this Pocket PC will run Windows Mobile 5.0 and include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB host capabilities.
Pocket Loox N560
Those disappointed that the Pocket Loox C550 lacks a GPS receiver won't have long to wait, though. In March, Fujitsu-Siemens supposedly plans to introduce the worlds first GPS-enabled handheld with a VGA screen.
Aside from this, the N560 will be quite similar to its immediate predecessor, but it will sport a 624 MHz processor and 256 MB of RAM.
Pocket Loox T800
According to the information leaked to Brighthand, Fujitsu-Siemens will unveil a very high-end smartphone loaded with features this summer.
